Everybody’s perspective is different. But there shouldn’t be a disclaimer to justify the love we think we deserve.
Love shouldn’t be going days without talking. Love shouldn’t be staying mad. Love shouldn’t be hanging on a thread. Love shouldn’t be being left there wondering if things will be okay.
Love shouldn’t be explaining that you’re broken, though it’s no excuse but you can’t help it that it causes you to need more assurance. Love shouldn’t be apologizing for being difficult.
Love shouldn’t be sleepless nights with tears on your pillow. Love shouldn’t be doubting if you’ll be worth the fight. Love shouldn’t be giving up wishing that he wouldn’t. Love shouldn’t be waiting. Love shouldn’t be hoping.
Love shouldn’t be like that. Love should be knowing what love should be.
