Thankful

There were some people I thanked too late, I didn’t get the chance to thank them when I still have them, when they liked my presence and when they’d double text me if I don’t reply.

Everything happened too fast I almost couldn’t catch up. Laying in bed on a Sunday morning allows me to finally take a breather, a short break from the overwhelming past month which I really needed.

Let’s be real, anything can happen anytime. So may I thank you while you still text me good morning and good night everyday. Thank you for that. Thank you for not forgetting about me because being forgotten is what I was getting used to. Thank you for not putting me as a second option. 

Thank you for including me in your life. Thank you to your friends and family for being so lovely. Thank you for being able to communicate when necessary. Thank you for listening. Thank you for making time for me. Thank you for your effort. Thank you for all the little things. Thank you for everything.
